friends have come and gone
over the years
some i have kept for decades
others have vanished over time
even some have passed away
but when you are friends with someone
and you vanish yourself
people tend to forget about you
and never reach out
even when you do
i miss my friends
i really do
from Houston to Hollywood
and back home here in the cornfield state
i think of all of you often
some i have hurt
and others have hurt me
but i forgive you
will you forgive me
can you reach out to me
and stay in contact with me more
if you read this
and can realize that i am not perfect
but i am a good soul
but bottom line is that
when you are out of sight
you are also out of mind...
